Mission & Vision Statements

 

Graduates of the Department of Food Technology and Quality control , Food safety can work in food production factories as technical, laboratory, quality control and production manager, as well as in government related centers including food and drug departments, standards organization, etc. Nutrition graduates can also be recruited as diet regimens in the cardiovascular disease, obesity, weight loss, diabetic, renal, gastrointestinal, oncology, ICU hospitalized diets, pregnant and lactating diets, as well as athletes and play a key and effective role in this regards.In addition, graduates of the school have the opportunity to pursue higher education and can be employed in academic and  research departments of academic centers. 

  •  Teaching graduate students in nutrition science with theoretical knowledge and practical skills to provide therapeutic, educational, and research services
  •  Theoretical training of medical and paramedical students in the field of nutrition principles and diet therapy
  • Education of outstanding nutritional experts
  • Applied research in specialized nutrition fields
  • Launch nutrition retraining courses for alumni in nutrition, nursing, midwifery, medicine and pharmacy
  • Conduct fundamental and applied research in various specialized nutrition fields
  • To investigate the problems of diet therapy in hospitals and to solve existing problems
  • To carry out research related to the food industry in cooperation with the food technology group
  • Expansion of proper nutrition culture in Kermanshah province by holding educational sessions in the community and media

Duties

  • Supervising the implementation of legislation that are notified through the dean of university and pave the way for development of academic talent
  •  To coordinate educational and research, administrative, financial and cultural activities of college or university
  •  Supervising the implementation of educational and research tasks of the faculty members of the Faculty of Nutrition Sciences and Food Technology
  •  Evaluation and coordination of all activities of the faculty subordinate units 
  •  The annual budget suggestion of the Faculty of Nutrition Sciences and Food Technology 
  •  Supervising the performance of Educational and Research Council of the faculty 
  •  Evaluation of annual performance of the faculty and reporting to the chancellor of university
  • The capability survey of the head of departments and comments about them
